"..Weddings can be such a huge investment and after the day you reflect on if there was anything you would do differently. For us, our Wedding Painting experience is something we would never change and sacrifice other elements if the day of needed to create this timeless piece over and over again.." Via emails and a Zoom meeting, I discussed the milestones and timeline of Gemma & Todd's relationship. These elements were included in the design and a rough sketch was sent to them for more discussions. The bottom of the design was left until visiting the venue.
Several images and videos were taken before finalising the design of the bottom of the artwork. After seeing the venue, I redesigned the bottom half of the painting which includes the wedding ceremony and reception.
Several images and videos are taken at the Ceremony. A pic is then used as inspiration to capture this part of the painting. This is a still from a video. I like to capture a special candid and natural moment, and it's not until I look at the images that I find it. The Sun came out just as the guests were throwing the rose petals. It was a magical moment.
Under my guidance, Guests were invited to add a brushstroke and sign a message on the back.
"..We had so many guests say they loved contributing to our artwork and its unique element and lingering togetherness it brought to our day.."

Guests really enjoyed watching the artwork take shape.
Myself and my assistant always take many candid images and videos we pass on.
"..The footage and photos captured by Donna were so special with many moments our photographer and videographer did not capture that are very special to us.."

The Best Man told me how they had arranged a Helicopter to fly to Yering Station Vineyard for Todd's Bucks. So I guided him to paint it in.
These are special touches I just love! This is why an interactive artwork is so popular.
Dancing under fairy lights. Was so much fun!
It is important to capture the atmosphere of the day and night in the artwork. So this detail is included in the painting back in studio.
This image along with many more were taken. In all about 300 candid images and videos were then given to Gemma and Todd digitally.

I like to get the Wedding Couple to paint something meaningful to each other into the canvas. This is often discussed before hand.
We make sure the Bridal Party and other important Relatives add significant motifs to the painting. This is towards the end of the reception. The painting looks "finished."
There were a lot of elements in this painting, and it takes quality time back in Studio to paint people in and enhance the buildings. These touch ups are done without painting over all of the special motifs guests have added.
"..The piece is beautifully crafted and lovingly finished with the highest quality of details and care.." Full testimonial below
The painting is then delivered back to the couple.
Framing is also an option. We can offer discount framing.
"..We had a lot of elements that were incorporated into our piece, Donna put so much time, research and communication to ensure each element was delivered in a way that told our story perfectly.."

From the back left, Kou Samui where they travelled overseas for the first time.
Moving across to the centre is Ballarat where Todd's Pa had an iconic Pie Store, "Sportans Pies" and the Cinemas where they met and Todd Proposed.
Far right is Apollo Bay where Todd's Family holiday. (His family painted this scene). The middle left, has Todd and Gemma's House and dog. There are also magpies on the fence, as Todd is a Collingwood supporter.
The middle is Lake Wendouree & their kayaks with AFL posts, and the local AFL Team flag as painted by guests (club & team members) and in the foreground the ceremony and reception is captured with the flower girls and page boys playing on the lawn, and the marquee with the celebrations.
There is also a fire painted in on the left bank, as requested by one of Todd's friends, because he "fires people up". Todd is s sports trainer.
"Donna and her team went above and beyond to make our wedding and painting experience so special. The piece is beautifully crafted and lovingly finished with the highest quality of details and care.
We had a lot of elements that were incorporated into our piece, Donna put so much time, research and communication to ensure each element was delivered in a way that told our story perfectly.
We had so many guests say they loved contributing to our artwork and its unique element and lingering togetherness it brought to our day. We love having our piece displayed in our home and feel it is the most cherished keep sake' from our wedding. The footage and photos captured by Donna were so special with many moments our photographer and videographer did not capture that are very special to us. Weddings can be such a huge investment and after the day you reflect on if there was anything you would do differently. For us, our Wedding Painting experience is something we would never change and sacrifice other elements if the day of needed to create this timeless piece over and over again. We will love its presence throughout our marriage and the memories it brings. " Gemma & Todd
